On the coast of Maine in Port Clyde, Herring Gut Learning Center is taking troubled middle-school youth and helping them run their own oyster hatchery business as part of their school week. This clip stems from a longer piece I produced on the story of this place and its students ( which can be viewed here ) that was selected for screening by the 7th annual Ocean Film Festival in San Francisco.
